Top Sales & Marketing Talent to Lead Market Expansion for Disruptive Products
Job Purpose: Lead sales and go-to-market strategies to grow and expand market share for disruptive video transcoder & video enhancement products for a high-growth, innovative technology company. Built on its breakthrough technology and rapid market acceptance, the company is making a transition from a technology leader to a market leader. Full-time preferred, part-time engagement will be considered for a highly qualified candidate.
Job Duties:
- Delivers breakthrough brand development, corporate leadership and strategy resulting in dramatic growth, global business expansion, new products in entrepreneurial environments
- Identifies market potential by qualifying accounts and distribution channel.
- Work with our distribution channel and channel partners to ensure that they are actively promoting, and accurately quoting and capturing renewal revenue.
- Work closely with the internal and external sales and technical teams to create a united front to the customer and to identify other revenue opportunities
- Initiates sales process by scheduling appointments; making initial presentation; understanding account requirements.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential account; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
- Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services; developing new applications.
- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
- Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

Sales Managers
Job Purpose: Sells products by implementing national sales plans for leading video transcoder products for a fast-growth, technology company. Target customers include: broadcasters, streaming media companies, post-production houses, and video entertainment companies.
Job Duties:
- Identifies market potential by qualifying direct sales accounts and distribution channels. Experience selling into Broadcast industry a plus.
- Initiates sales process by contact initiation and qualification, making initial presentation, and understanding account requirements.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential account, explaining product and service capabilities, overcoming objections; preparing contracts.
- Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and service and developing new applications.

Senior Video Algorithm Design Engineer
Job Purpose: Senior level algorithm design engineer to help design and fine-tune Ipera Technology’s Pixel Magic video enhancement core engine.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for the development of adaptive bit rate streaming protocol algorithms and their software implementation on multi-core processor architectures.
- Key duties will include analysis and characterization of network topologies and bottlenecks, software implementation of transcoding and streaming protocols and technology transfer to the product team. Will act as a resource for resolving customer and product integration issues and support follow-on opportunities for the next generation.
- Responsibilities also include video enhancement, video compression and streaming algorithm development and software implementation on high performance multi-core processors.
- Involvement in the creation and development of new video processing concepts, systems, and intellectual property rights throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate new product functionalities to customers and senior management.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have demonstrated strong ability to design video processing algorithm from a concept to a finished product.
- Strong C/C++, Matlab, and assembly programming skills.
- Thorough understanding of real-time algorithm design, video compression, signal processing filter design, and embedded system design.
- Familiar with MPEG compression standards.
- Have experience of designing at least one commercially viable codec or enhancement product from start to finish.
- MS/PhD in EE or related field and 5+ years of industry experience.
Cloud Application Software Engineer
Job Purpose: We are hiring several experienced application software engineers to help design, develop, debug, and maintain our video transcoding application software. The immediate tasks include porting our server software to the Cloud.
Job Duties:
- Design and develop multi-threading, multi-format video transcoding application software in Windows and Linux Cloud environment.
- Design, develop, and debug live streaming transcoding application software.
- Maintain existing video transcoding products.
- Provide engineering support to key customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Live streaming programming experience.
- Video codec programming experience.
- Excellent C++ programming and debugging skills.
- Large scale Visual Studio C++ application development experience.
- Experience in at least two web programming languages: JAVA, JS, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Familiarity with video and audio encoding and decoding, low level codec experience a plus.
- Web UI/UX experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of software development experience.
- BS degree in computer science; MS preferred.
Senior QA Engineer
Job Purpose: Senior level software QA engineer to play a leadership role in quality assurance of an industry leading software video transcoder products.
Job Duties:
- Design and build advanced automated test suites using object-oriented methodologies.
- Build automated Windows test environment utilizing Windows deployment services and Microsoft deployment toolkit.
- Extensive experience with multimedia software products.
- Implement and execute automation strategies on all supported platforms.
- Design and build automated tools for testing (addressing, functional, performance, component, integration and system testing).
- Troubleshoot field issues to help developer pin points the issue.
- Work closely with development team to create automated test plans, test cases and strategies.
- Influence system design by providing factual data and drive result.
- Design and perform manual test.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with test automation and Microsoft Windows development environment.
- Fundamental knowledge in video, audio, synchronization, streaming and other related subjects.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Must possess the “golden eyes” in assessing video quality.
- Programming experience (C#, C++, Java, VB).
- Data driven testing experience.
